Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Ingredients: 

2 cans organic black beans

1 onion diced

1 green bell pepper diced 

Olive oil

1 egg

Chilli powder 1/2 - 1 tsp. 

Garlic herb seasoning 

Salt & pepper

Directions: 

Place all ingredients in a large bowl (leaving out the olive oil) use wooden spatula to mix and mash ingredients together, leaving some black beans slightly formed. 

Place in patties of about 8.

Refrigerate for about 30 minutes (I didn't do this and it was hard to keep the patties together, so don't skip this step)

Cook over med-high heat with 2 tablespoons olive oil. 

Once they were done, I placed mine on some toasted Ezekiel bread with spinach, tomatoes, onions, and some hot sauce.... and it was so delish!
